Why Siliguri. Why now.
TripXL was started in Siliguri, in the foothills of the Eastern Himalayas. If you've never been here — this is the city most travelers pass through on the way to Darjeeling, Sikkim, Bhutan, the seven sisters of the North-East, or coming back from them.
We chose Siliguri on purpose. The North-East is one of the most under-served travel corridors in India. People here juggle flights, shared cabs, and overnight trains to get to places that should be a single, simple booking. The technology that makes booking easy in Bangalore should work just as well for someone planning a trip from Gangtok to Goa.
TripXL Private Limited was founded by Testing Hero with a simple idea — flight booking shouldn't feel like negotiating with a slot machine. You shouldn't have to refresh prices to see if a fare jumped. You shouldn't scroll through eleven fine-print modals to find out what a "non-refundable" ticket actually means. You shouldn't be charged a service fee that wasn't on the search page.
We're building TripXL the way we'd want a flight site to work for our own families. That's the whole brief.
